BioI am a forty-something lesbian living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I've been here for more than ten years, but I grew up in NYC, and moved here from there. I'm still a New Yorker at heart -- a bit gruff and aggressive, but New Mexico is definitely mellowing me out. My mother lives here, so that's what made me move originally. I work at the local private high school, as one of the school counselors. I am a single mom of a five year old son. I date a lot (the blog is often about my adventures in the dating world), and am very active in our local lesbian community. I'm also a very enthusiastic hiker, and in general, I really enjoy physical exercise. I'm having a midlife crisis of sorts and am considering a career change and possibly going back to school. But enough about me.
